This newest collection expands upon his previous work, showcased in Awful Homesick, to bring us a broader picture of the extent of his twisted genius and the dark themes that run throughout his work. Yet, amongst the entrails and decapitations, the gaping maws of razor-sharp teeth, improbable appendages and suppurating fleshy masses, we discover a vein of goodness, of humanity.

We see children, calling for help as they languish encased in the see-through digestive chambers of horrific monsters, as evidence of either a loss or a craving for innocence. Wide eyes stare childlike as terrifying creatures lovingly clasp and support each other, providing comfort in their search for community — misfits in a world where only normalcy is rewarded. Prepare to be surprised!

Alex Pardee
As an American artist, writer and apparel designer born in Antioch, California February 5, 1976, Alex has exhibited his recognizable art throughout America and abroad on both solo and group shows. Alex is a pioneer in trans-media artistry, bringing his unique style and aesthetic to all platforms, including numerous creative director credits for music, animation, and film projects. Most notably, the bands The Used, In Flames, and hip hop artist Cage, and for the TV/film projects Chadam & Zack Synder's Sucker Punch, for which he created art for the film itself and for the launch of the films marketing campaign. In 2007, along with two of his closest friends, Alex co-founded the successful art and apparel company Zerofriends, which through a series of pop-up stores on both coasts provides him and several other notable artists a marketable retail extension of their artwork and storytelling. Alex currently calls the San Francisco Bay Area home.
